Marital Enrichment Ministry

New Life Baptist Church is convinced that good marriage preparation programs can help couples avoid some of the mistakes that have destroyed too many marriages. However, we understand that no marriage is perfect. Our mission is not to produce a perfectly married couple, but rather to help a couple establish a biblical understanding and foundation for their marriage. We believe the scriptures teach that marriage is an institution established by God, and is a life-time commitment, that we require certain things from each couple before granting them approval to be married at New Life or to utilize our facilities. One such requirement is to go through- The Marital Enrichment Ministry.

At this exciting time in your life, if you are planning to marry, it is important to explore your relationship, and the skills needed to develop the strengths to handle the challenges that inevitably arise when people share their lives. You and your partner can benefit from the Marital Enrichment Ministry afforded at New Life to assist you in your desire to have a marriage that's centered on the teachings of God's Holy Word.

New Life wants to support, encourage, and equip you the best it can with biblical principals that will enhance or initiate your relationship with Jesus Christ, to explain and invite you to reflect on and further appropriate God's understanding of marriage, and to invite you to live your married lives in communion with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The classes will allow you to benefit from the experience and Christian witness of the team couples who are living the vocation of marriage, to present to you some of the basic elements in the marital relationship: self-knowledge, communication, marital adjustments, spirituality of marriage and family life, teachings on family planning, and finances.

Getting married is one of the most exciting and challenging steps any couple can take- but it is only a step! It's the beginning of a journey called "Marriage!"
